How to filter tasks on a to-do list

  1. Login to Workast using Slack credentials
  2. On the left hand side under My Lists, click on the to-do list you want to filter

My Tasks

The "My Tasks" filter shows the tasks that are assigned to you.

These tasks can include tasks that are assigned to you, and another team member.

To activate this filter, click on the button which says "MY TASKS". The grey box around this button will indicate that this filter is ON.

To deactivate this filter, click on the button again. This will show all the tasks in the to-do list.

Priority

The "Priority" view of the list is the default view of the to-do list.

When the "Priority" view is on, you can drag and drop the tasks in the list to re-order the tasks by priority.

If any other filter is chosen, the drag and drop filter is not available.

Due Date

To filter the list by due date, click on the button which says "PRIORITY". This will show two other filter options.

Cllck on "Due Date"

The tasks in the specific list will be filtered by the due date on the tasks.

To change the filter back to "PRIORITY" click on the "DUE DATE" filter, and choose "Priority". This will change the list back to the original view.

NOTE: When the list is filtered by due date, you cannot change the order of the tasks in the list.

Assigned

The "Assigned" filter shows the tasks assigned to the different team members. The tasks are separated by each assignee.

To change the filter to "Assigned" click on the "PRIORITY" button and choose "Assigned".

You will see the tasks filtered by assignee.

To change the filter back to "Priority" click on the button "Assigned" and then choose "Priority". This will change the view back to the original view.
